Here are my 4 useful tips HoDs can implement on their next production:
๐ก ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฑ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐: Everyone looks to the HoDs as role models. The pressure on set is high, but impulsive reactions create a toxic environment. Take a breath, assess the situation and decide how to respond constructively. Disagreements are okay, but disrespect is not.
๐ก ๐๐ ๐๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐จ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ข๐๐ฌ๐๐ฌ: we all have them! Actively work to recognise and challenge biases when making decisions or evaluating teams without context. Look for different perspectives and create space for open communication.
